HTHE stylish, 1950s-set BBC2 drama The Hour is shaping up to be dashed good entertainment, even if it is slower than an Indian spin-bowler in a Test match.
I wish it dealt more with the drama of putting together a groundbreaking current affairs show and less about spies, but I would watch it just to see what the radiant Romola Garai is wearing.
And for great lines like “One has to leap into life, not just shuffle” and “I’m not here to hurt you, I’m from the BBC.”
