Emmerdale spoilers from August 1

LEYLA is devastated that Alicia is about to take her son – who everyone thinks is her nephew – off to Spain, so she snatches Jacob and runs off with him to Leeds.

She books them into a B&B and orders Jacob not to call his ‘mum’, then tells a worried David that she thinks she should tell the lad who his mother really is. Will she go through with her threat?

It looks like Leyla is on her way out of the village and so is Eve, who having worked her way through most of the menfolk, leaving a trail of devastation behind her, wants to move on. The only person who’s sad to see her go is Edna.
