ALTER BRIDGE
ABIII
(Roadrunner)
wWHEN Alter Bridge arrived in the wake of the Creed collapse six years ago, few guessed that Myles Kennedy & Co would be better than their platinum predecessor. But three albums on, they sound stronger than ever, with musical muscle tempering their tendency to become a tad too radio-friendly. Opener Slip To The Void and the steroidal Still Remains both boast rock riffs that give Metallica a run for their megabucks. The recent Creed reunion should not become an unecessary diversion. PC
