Orbital 20 (Rhino)
wRELEASED to mark the 20 years that have elapsed since the dance titans’ formation, the new album from Orbital rides the crest of a new wave of retro-tinged electronica. Unlike their rave era contemporaries Chemical Brothers and Prodigy, Orbital have remained low-key in their crossover success, even splitting up for a while a couple of years ago. This two-CD package, therefore, is the perfect reminder of the myriad delights of club classic Belfast, Chime and The Box – and also includes new remixes of lesser-known gems such as Lush and Halcyon.
