Sebastian Bach - Angel Down

(DR2)

FUNNY to think that Skid Row singer Bach was almost the voice of Guns N’Roses, and made a bid for the Velvet Revolver mic, too.

Thankfully both bands had better sense, leaving the flamboyant frontman to his own devices.

Cue his first solo set this century, a mediocre mish-mash of classic rock cliches, plodding riffs and a vocal perhaps kindly described as extravagant.

The likes of Angel Down and American Metalhead are excruciating, and Aerosmith should sue over Bach’s cover of Back In The Saddle. Guns icon Axl Rose adds a flicker interest to (Love Is) A Bitchslap but that’s good as it gets.
