Well, he grew up to be the schizophrenic serial killer who lurks in the shock-rock original’s 25th album. It’s a criminal concept album that musically steps back from Alice’s recent brutal metal and recaptures the pop hooks of his heyday, particularly on the swaggering Catch Me If You Can and The One That Got Away.

Guitar hero Slash sets Vengeance Is Mine alight with an incendiary solo, and Killed By Love is this year’s Only Women Bleed.
