IT’S a sign of the times that the arrival of the Guitar Hero: Aerosmith computer game should spark a re-release of the band’s greatest hits set.

For newcomers, it’s an adequate introduction with fan favourites including Love In An Elevator, Dude (Looks Like A Lady) and Sweet Emotion, plus big ballads Amazing, Crazy and Don’t Want To Miss A Thing.

They all pale beside Livin’ On The Edge, which finds Steve Tyler & Co at their best, and Jaded – surely the hidden gem in Aerosmith’s treasure chest.
