WALL-E (PS3) Disney

WITH all products it pays to know the people you’ll be selling to – and video games are no different.

Take Wall E, for example. The Pixar movie was aimed primarily at children and the obligatory spin-off game does exactly the same.

Wall-E offers up quite a few different sorts of gameplay, from 3D puzzle solving to flying and quite a few fun multiplayer offerings for younger gamers.

But none of these gameplay methods will really prove enthralling or challenging enough for anyone who is no longer at primary school.

However, younger gamers – especially those who have fallen in love with the film – will find this good fun, thanks to the simple to use controls and basic puzzle solving and game modes.

As you’d expect from a game based on a Pixar movie, the graphics are nice and tidy and do a good job of recreating the atmosphere of the film.

There’s some nice little unlockables dotted around the game for fans of the movie, but if you’re an adult gamer then Wall-E the game is only likely to appeal to you if you have a young child you need to keep entertained for a few hours.
