Sunday Mercury launches search for Birmingham's sexiest blokes!

THE Sunday Mercury is famous for its Sunday Sizzlers, Beach Babes and Winter Warmers.
But, due to public demand from women readers, we’re now hunting for the sexiest blokes in Birmingham.
We’ve teamed up with Galaxy and House of Fraser for ... MANHUNT 2009.
The annual search is back, as Galaxy, House of Fraser and the Sunday Mercury urge the Midlands to be on the lookout.
We want girlfriends, wives, friends, work colleagues, and sexy men themselves, to come forward with nominations.
And for the winners, there’s year-round fame.
They’ll appear in the Galaxy Manhunt calendar, which has proved a huge success for five years running, creating exciting opportunities for the 12 men chosen to represent the months of the year.
Thousands of entrants from the West Midlands apply each year. These are whittled down to 20 by an expert judging panel, and the finalists are then put to the public vote.
The dozen with the highest number of votes then make it onto the exclusive calendar, which graces the desks of thousands of workplaces and in homes across Birmingham and beyond.
Vikki Webb, Marketing Manager for Galaxy Birmingham says: “Every year Manhunt gets bigger and bigger and we’re always overwhelmed by the response. It shows not only that the men of Birmingham are good looking, but also how proud the ladies are of them!”
Nick Orford, General Manager for House of Fraser Birmingham, shares her enthusiasm.
“We are delighted to be proud sponsors of Galaxy Manhunt again,” he says. “This is great opportunity for us to see new faces in store.”
And Paul Cole, Executive Editor of the Sunday Mercury, says: “Over the years we have regularly featured the most beautiful women in the Midlands – and we will soon be searching for them again.
