FORMER Baywatch star DAVID Hasselhoff has revealed he will NOT be returning to the judging panel of Britain’s Got Talent.
The Birmingham-bound actor says he knew from the beginning that he would only do one series of the show as a favour to showbiz pal Simon Cowell.
The colourful US celebrity had linked up with comic Michael McIntyre and actress Amanda Holden for the new-look judging panel.
Yet ratings plummeted, with some critics blaming the absence of creator Cowell – and others labelling Hasselhoff BORING.
McIntyre has announced he is not returning for the new series and now his co-judge has now confirmed he is also saying goodbye to the talent show.
The Hoff told the Sunday Mercury: “The reason I did the last series was because Simon rang me and said, ‘I really need you to fill in for me. You’re the only one who will do it.’
