The couple had three children – Matthew, Tim and Yasmina – but after just two years of marriage he gave in to temptation and started an affair.
When the guilt got too much he confessed to his wife, but then took the unbelievable step of moving his mistress into the family home with his three young children.
Speaking in an interview with the Sunday Mercury in 2000, he said: “Two years after I was married I took a mistress – but I hated the lying.
“Eventually I told my wife Paula about the Muslim culture and how a man could have more than one wife. She agreed that my mistress could move in with us but it only lasted three months.
“The jealousy was terrible.
“Paula and I agreed to divorce and I decided that, in future, I would follow the Muslim way.”
His three wives – who often dress the same – had helped him build his businesses in the Midlands, as well as bring up his children.
In 1986 he married Italian Cinzia Crispimo in an Islamic ceremony in Istanbul, Turkey. Then in 1989 he wed his second wife, Stephania Loi, who is also Italian. He completed the trio of marriages in 1993 when he wed British girl, Sarah Deakin.
Like Cinzia and Stephania, she converted to Islam, turning her back on a strict Baptist upbringing.
Mr Siadatan has eight children with his wives, ranging in age from 10 to 20. The youngest is Cinzia’s, while Sarah has a 13 year-old child and Stephania has the other six kids.
But despite his hectic business schedule, Mr Siadatan has said he is still contemplating bringing a fourth wife into the fold.
He said: “My wives and I have discussed this and they know I may introduce somebody else in the future. She will be another friend for them.”
