IT IS one of the most memorable scenes in classic blockbuster The Italian Job.

Midland-made Mini Coopers dangerously race through a mucky sewer.

But forget Turin.

That part of the famous scene was actually filmed in... Coventry

Most of the iconic movie, starring Michael Caine, was shot in Italy and London.

But producers found the perfect location for the sewer scene – Treforest Road in the Stoke Aldemoor area of the city.

Now, thanks to a new Sat-Nav guide, drivers are able to visit the exact spot where the movie was filmed

And they’ll be able to visit other filmshoot sites that software producers have chosen.

Also featured in the program, which you download onto your Sat-Nav, is hit movie Bridget Jones’s Diary, which featured Snowshill Manor in Bridgeway, Worcestershire.

Then there’s The Chronicles of Narnia, which included a scene shot at the Severn Valley Railway, and Vanity Fair, which used historic Sudeley Castle in Winchcombe, Gloucestershire.
